What a honey of a dog.I love her name.Years ago, I cleaned houses for money and one of my clients was an elderly woman, a retired school teacher, who during the course of the time she was my client, adopted a little black poodle/terrier mix named Molly. And just your Molly, her Molly was a honey of a dog. Just as sweet as she could be.I loved cleaning this woman's house. It was a tiny little bungalow with a lovely sun porch. She had the best books and knickknacks and photographs everywhere. She had a photo of one of her previous dogs, a sheep dog, that was standing up on its hind legs, with its front paws resting on a fence, standing right next to her, like a person. I swear, at first, it looked like a human in a dog costume. Thanks for reminding me of her. Her name was Miss Whipple. I hadn't thought of her or her Molly in years.
I love your story and can so picture Miss Whipple, her dogs, her house, her life. You have that wonderful ability with language to bring the reader right into the world you are writing about. Did you see the Molly pic below? The snow pic? She loves the snow!
I love Molly she's beautful!!
Thanks, Jo! She is such a loving dog. Didn't think we were going to make it through the puppy years, but we did, and all the hard work payed off!
