Nature Being Patient With Me

This butterfly was incredibly tolerant of my presence and gave me ample opportunity to get a good shot, but I just couldn't get one.  So, I joined the West Kentucky Photography Club tonight with the hope that I can learn some things with my little point and shoot camera and move on to a better camera.  I felt at sea in there, but everyone was nice.

Last time I checked, there was a huge difference between a lobotomist and a phlebotomist!

Lobotomist on the loose!
A laugh-out-loud moment this morning. Had a sip of hot coffee in my mouth and just spewed it everywhere when I started reading this article from The Madisonville Messenger. The article is titled:  Assistant Shelter Manager Takes Lead. Here's the sentence:

"A little over a year ago, Charles Gentry worked in a lab as a lobotomist, but now he works in a hospital of different sorts."

From Start To Finish: Delicious!

Start with fresh from the garden romas, cukes, and onions. Seed and chop tomatoes. Cut cukes in 1/2 lengthwise, and then chop them. Cut onion vertically and then into thin slices. Add apple cider vinegar or balsamic, olive oil, kosher salt, cracked black pepper, and fresh dill. Stir together. So light and refreshing!
