She's sitting behind me as I type, boring a hole in the back of my head.
I am on call today and have been gone most of the day. I am already just about spent emotionally (and physically--already driven about 100 miles with my first on call of the day) and still have about 14 more hours of on call. I hope things quiet down!!!
She wants attention, and I don't have any to give her at the moment, so she just sits behind me and stares at me. Eventually, she'll bark, just so I have to turn around and say something to her. It makes me a little uncomfortable to have her sitting behind me staring at me (guilt!).
Guess I need to go play Moosie with her for a little while. Moosie is one of the few toys she hasn't managed to tear apart! We actually have two of them just in the event one gets lost under a couch or something. Much like parents keeping pacifiers all over the house, we keep Moosies!
Yes, she is a joyful girl! And, hey, she's actually starting to smell better. Maybe the anal glands were causing all of the odor. She's finally stopped licking. I am hopeful!

That's why I love dogs. They're (usually) such joyful dogs. You can almost feel the happiness beaming out of them. They can barely contain it.
