This week's photo challenge theme is "decay." Heart rot forms on a tree when the tree is sick and already decaying. It is lovely to look at, but it means trouble for the tree. I thought these resembled shells under the water. There was even a haze beneath them as I looked through the viewfinder which looked like water.
This butterfly was incredibly tolerant of my presence and gave me ample opportunity to get a good shot, but I just couldn't get one. So, I joined the West Kentucky Photography Club tonight with the hope that I can learn some things with my little point and shoot camera and move on to a better camera. I felt at sea in there, but everyone was nice.
